When you book an appointment, contact us, or join our mailing list, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, appointment history and preferences, and any messages you send us. If you pay a deposit or for a service, payment details are collected and processed directly by our booking platform, Fresha — KOVA does not store your card details.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to manage and confirm bookings, process deposits and payments, communicate with you about appointments (including reminders and rescheduling), respond to enquiries sent via WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, and — where you've opted in — send you marketing emails or offers through our mailing list. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on a small number of trusted third parties to run KOVA: Fresha for appointment booking, payment processing, and appointment-related emails/SMS; WhatsApp (Meta) for direct messaging; and Instagram and Facebook (Meta) for social media and enquiries. Each of these platforms has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

Cookies & Analytics

Our website may use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use our site (such as which pages are viewed and which campaigns bring visitors to us, tracked in part via UTM parameters in links) and to inform our advertising. These tools use cookies and similar technologies. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Data Security & Retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, meet legal obligations, or as you've otherwise consented to (such as remaining on our mailing list until you unsubscribe).

Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time, by emailing us at admin@kovanails.com.
